Monday miscellany

Yesterday was moderately stressful. I was locked in the bedroom with Äiti, on my own, all night. This was a surprise and I relished her attention but I do admit I missed perheeni. They were also unimpressed, particularly as breakfast was late. Äiti was doing something quite unusual - sleeping! Usually she is woken every few hours by somecat but I was very obliging and let her rest. So why was I separated ? Well, she was after that very valuable product: Punapippuri-pee. For this I had to be on my own so she could tell I was the only visitor to the special litter box which would change colour when sprinkled.

So this was a wicked trick to finally catch my peemails. And even worse: she took a photo of it! I am allowing her to post this simply because ystävämme eläinlääkäri reads this blog and it might save me from a trip there......
So, the litter went greenish and it indicates crystals so I now have to, apparently raise the pH of my pee. Äiti was delighted that she found out all that is tested is this pH thingy as apparently she can easily get stuff to do this. She however will not easily get my pee.
Soon after this appalling photo session the bedroom door was reopened and perheeni piled in. Literally.
Mirsku-veli had been separated from Mr. Elephant. He made up for lost time.
Mr Elephant was exhausted. Mirsku just looked very content.
Pekka-poika cuddled a Burmese butterball.
Rilli-ukko slept in a hammick.
And Stran-veli refused to share his bed with anyone.
And I have no idea how silver tabby toy ended up in my paws. This is the second embarrassing photo of the day!
Today, all being well, Jaava-ninja will lose her kitten production bits.  Apparently this is why breakfast is late as she has to be starved. Our paws will be crossed for her.

Update: Jaava is back and has eaten (lots) and after a bit of a snuggle with Äiti crawled upstairs and into the sauna where she will hopefully sleep it all off for a while. She was very noisy waiting for ystävämme eläinlääkäri earlier and made sure everyone knew how unhappy she was to be in the Box of Doom.

OMC!! Aiti's bed is awash with felines...it looks like our Mommy's!!
Puna, we have our paws crossed that your pee becomes less irritating (for you) with special fuuds or medicines...we hope fuuds, and plenty of them.
Purrs for Miss Jaava, we hope her surgery goes smoothly.

I am sending Jaava lots of purrs today, although I wonder if she will come through her operation the same way I did - wanting to play a few hours after waking up!

We used that special litter once because my human wanted to make sure that a UTI Boodie had did not come back - all was clear!

Purrs for Jaava today, we hope that by now it's all over and done with and she's recovering. (We think you're seven hours ahead of us, which would mean it's about 3PM your time.)

Purrs also for you and for Aiti, as you sort out diet changes, pee issues, etc.

The mom says there's always something going amiss! :-/
