We know today is not a day to write of celebrations. We also know we do not understand what happened ten years ago, and we never will. But we have many friends across the world who have written very moving blog posts today so we just want to pause and have a quiet time out of respect for everyone affected by the awful events then, and in the wars that have followed.

Excellent words my friend.
What a beautiful picture! Fabulous colours. My aunt recently read a book about a wonderful blind cat, Homer, who lives in New York and was there even that day 10 years ago...
By the way, my Aunt was out in the forest picking mushrooms all day yesterday :(. So she didn't even open our PC the whole day. So, sorry, we missed your birthday. But we are sure you had a nice party, and I and Oliver and our Aunt wish you many many more years filled with joy and catnip!
We remember, and hope for a better future. We think the Sun is a wonderful subject; after all we are merely the stuff of stars.
As an American dog, I thank you for this. HUGS
And I look forward to updates of your birthday celebration very soon. :)
Thank you! We will always remember.

A very sad day for all. Thank you for caring.
All of our love.
Paws and reflection, here too.
