Tardy Saturday

Twice a year we are subjected to the sheer horror of Äiti working on a Saturday. The horror is from her, as she is not used to it and would much rather curl up in bed underneath several of us. We agree, so when she came back home we immobilised her on the sofa while she caught up with sleep. Then she went to go watch stinky birds and it is only now, when it is dark outside (proper night time has returned to Finland North), that I get to blog.

And even then there are no new photos of me so I have to show you a couple of shots of Jura-ninja. He is developing very nice (in fact I am surprised he can still jump vertically upwards, his munat are so big).

He knows he is a handsome mancat in the making, and he sits and purrs a lot. And he has the audacity to have very cute ears in Äiti's opinion.

She has reassured me that she likes my noble ear fluff too - they are just very different aspects of feline aural manifestations. Personally I like to keep my lugholes warm, so think mine are much more cosy.

I have today allowed Äiti to comb me a little. She thinks I have a furball brewing as I have been a little sick and also a little fluid elsewhere. She had to give my glorious bottom fluff a little trim and for once I did not protest so much and there was no bloodshed. This means I am getting lots of extra attention from her as she is feeling sorry for me (Äiti's note: not half as much as you are feeling for yourself!). Hopefully this will extend to her opening up a magnificent parcel which we have received from the Katinip Loungers in the USA......
