Sunny Sunday

We have a gloriously sunny autumn weekend here, and even though it is getting chilly, we have been outside in the the warm rays. Mirsku-veli is not so happy that the sun puddle has moved.
Stran-veli lets his belly fluff breathe.
Jaava-ninja thinks girlcats thoughts.
She plans to make the most of Stran's fluff.
Later she had a sauna with Äiti. She does love it, even if she does not sit on the highest bench!
Jura-ninja was doing mancat hunting things, killing string.
He is becoming a mighty hunter and weighs as much as his mother now, even though he is smaller in size still.
And I was also doing mancat things, grooming my luxurious fur. I did not spend so long outside but have eaten lots of kalkkuna and had lot of cuddles (as is my right). I am continuing my most excellent eat loads diet. Stran-veli is on the opposite diet which he certainly does not think is excellent!
Äiti went looking for revontulet last night, which is quite early in the year but she says that there might be quite many this season. Last night there were a few wisps of green before it got cloudy. I always think the lights are our friends who are no longer with us playing among the stars.

Enjoy those last rays of summer sun, autumn is almost here. It's cool now here too, at night and in the mornings.

We think that's a lovely thought about the Northern Lights, that they are our friends playing among the stars. Beautiful. :-)

Mommy says she wants a diet like yours, Puna: LOTS of food, all the time. And we think Jaava looks like she is thinking sinister girlcat thoughts! We think that the northern lights MUST be our friends that have gone before us...what a wonderful thought.

I hear the nights get awfully long in your part of the world during winter, so enjoy the sun now!

You are very lucky that it's getting chilly! We are cooler, but still by no means chilly. We don't know how your sweet Aiti can keep up with feeding you to gain weight but trying to keep Stran from gaining weight. Fuzzy really could use to put on a few pounds, but I'm the only one who seems to be doing that!

Your friend, Zoe

Glad to see you are eating and grooming and feeling better, sweet Puna. Keeping all of your wonderful furs in tip top shape must take lots of work! Be sure to take it easy.
Squeeee! Little Jura's paw hands! Too adorable for words ! Mum always loves it so when we make " little hands".
What a beautiful and comforting thought about the northern lights. All of those we've loved and lost, all of the abused and unwanted kitties who died without ever knowing a loving home are now playing together it the sky at the top of the world. Oh, we do hope it's is a good season and your mum gets lots of lovely photos. We'd love to have a photo to frame and hang in our house to warm our hearts.
