Munchiesday with Whisker Humps

Mirsku-veli got the munchies of course, after all the kissanminttu at my birthday bash last weekend. He decided to have a chew on Äiti's thumb.

And in the meantime, Aila-sisko sneaked in some real munchies - she was licking the custard from a bow. Aila is nearly as addicted to custard as Äiti is.

I want to know how she silently manages to track down these delights, and being a girlcat, she of course doesn't share any of it with us!
By the way, my blood results were not back from the lab so we are still waiting for news of my kidneys. However I can report that I had several handfuls of yummy dried food this morning, directly from Äiti's hand.

Update !
Äiti has just spoken with ystävämme eläinlääkäri who has said that my kidney and liver tests show complete normality and tip top fitness. There are still a couple more tests to come but these were the worrying ones. I, of course, know that my magnificent innards are in 100% working order and there is nothing wrong with me! I am triumphant. And I will demand lots of food from the hand of Äiti in celebration (when she finally gets back from work).
However, she did then say that the reason for my not eating and being quiet was, now what was the word, erm, 'psychological'. I am not sure what that means as it is not something in my vocabulary. And Äiti has muttered something about jealousy in adjusting to kittens and being abandoned for a weekend. And I think I heard the word 'mammanpoika'. Pah!

We are very glad that your tests, so far, show you to be healthy. We love you lots and want you to be happy and feel your best. Our mum doesn't believe that, with your symptoms, it is psychological. Mum says doctors/people say "psychological" when they can't figure out why something is wrong. We've been down that path. Not a good one. Take care, love.
