Washing Time Post

It is hard to remember sometimes that our little mosquitoes are in fact tiny little kittens. Jaava yells like a monster at times but sometimes she just lets it show that she is pikku pentu and perhaps even quite sweet.
Pekka-poika is her hero and they have been seen sleeping together. he will give her a wash too but sometimes needs his own space.
She will follow - there is no escape.
Even a gentle paw cannot deter her.
Pekka-poika has to retreat.
Stran-veli, of course, will also help in keeping her clean. He washed me when I was pikku pentu and I spent many hours snuggled with him. I was much younger when I first arrived here and Äiti thinks that's why I hiss a lot at the kittens even though I do want to play with them. I also use my paws quite forcefully - she says that is probably because I was separated from any litter brothers and sisters I had too young and am 'not properly socialised'. Pah! Even so, she says I am a most excellent mancat and can be a good king to these Burmese butterballs, so maybe I should not be too upset with her.

Jaava must be the cleanest kitten in all of Finland, with all the washing she is getting!

MOL.. I'm about to say like Sparkle said !
And just watched the video, and I think Jaava know her place, but it's funny in the way Stran, try to push her back to you : )

You know, occasionally Tiny will do a little cleaning on me, but that is incredibly rare. I will also, on occasion, clean her. Usually though, we end up biting each other so we are super impressed that you are able to clean without biting..how do you do it??? Jaava should be so grateful...and so clean!! Good job!! That first photo could be on a friendship calendar or poster, it's wonderful. :-)

We're not sure how any of you manages to groom her without a tussling session ensuing though!

SEE!! Girlcats are not all that bad. We love how Jaava's fur in her chest gives her a little "bodice".

We are just catching up with you all - again. Seems we're constantly behind anymore. It's good to see you're all well and that the kittens are perfect fits into the family! We're sorry your Aiti has to work - we feel your pain. Even when ours isn't at work lately, she's too busy for us. She says she's working on 'important' things, but we have a hard time believing that.

What a wonderful post! The first photo had brought tears to mum's eyes. So delightful! And what an amazing photo! As another poster said, it easily could be on a calendar or greeting card.
Looks like the little cones really belong.
