Swift Saturday

I am very relieved that Äiti has not put us up for sale on ebay. I think this was probably a joke as she would be lost without us. I had a snuggle with her and she reassured me that I am still her favourite King Kitty Cat of Finland (North), and even though I have been peemailing in many places, she will not banish me to the internet auctions. However she says I should try to ignore that there is a 14 week old kitten who has bigger munat than me. Pah! I refuse to translate such slander.
Äiti noticed an eerie silence at one point yesterday, and then a sudden rush through the curtains.
Pekka-poika shot outside. Three minutes later he was back....
He was twice his normal size and his tail was like a bottle brush. He was staring straight at another partially fluffed up feline.....
Mirsku-veli was walking very slowly towards him. Really slowly but staring hard. Eyeball to eyeball.
Äiti was expecting the fur to fly in a massive mancat fight. She has never seen this from Pekka-poika and Fatboy. She feared the worst as they sized each other up. The silence was deafening. Mirsku took one slow step at a time towards his rival. There was no growling or yowling, just sheer nerves of steel as they got within a paw swipe. And then..............
A noserub.
These two were just playing! Äiti says we never cease to amaze her.
And talking of amazing, our hammicks arrived. Äiti went to the customs office to pick them up and expected the usual inquisition over what was in the parcel and how much money the greedy government could demand. It was opened up in front of her and the officials began pulling out the fabric and when Äiti said they were cat beds they put them back nicely and gave them to Äiti with a smile and no charge for import duty.
Luckily they didn't find this tin of serious hardcore organic catnip. Wow! There's going to be a party here with this stuff. Thank you Forty Paws! And the hammicks are just fantastic too.

You would fetch a good price on ebay! MOL! Mom says she would sell me by the pound (weight)! Moms can be so cruel sumtimes. Great first pic of Pekka! Purrs.

Contraband catnip - how cool! Whenever I have to send anything overseas to my kitty friends, my human never packs the good nip stuff because she's scared the smell will alert the authorities and the package will get confiscated.

Puna, there's not enough money in all the world to buy you, Your Royal Sweetie-Pie! (hee hee)
Besides, we're fairly sure Aiti was kidding you. Soon Java will be just as nad-less as you so you can give over on all the p-mails.
We are impressed at how Pekka even puffed out his arm fur and we are going to start practicing that immediately; or perhaps after our nap...

That was a good puff up! We do that sometimes and circle each other, then just get fed up and walk off. We are glad customs didn't keep the nip for themselves. It's okay, you don't have to translate munat for us. We get the idea!

We're glad your Mom didn't put you on ebay (although we might bid!). We've tried to sell the woofies on ebay but Mom won't let us.

Wow, Pekka can look really scary! It's probably good that he and Mirsku didn't get into a dustup. And how great about the Ham-micks!!! We're thrilled you didn't have to give the government any monies for what you already paid for! And catnip as a bonus - what a fabulous weekend. We cannot wait to see what fabrics Maw sent!!!
