It is only right that we ignore Äiti's creations for us. She today attempted to sew two hammocks for the catio. Rilliukko very kindly kept walking over the fabric and around the machine but she still did not get the message that actually she was not born to sew.
It's not that we don't trust these constructions, they are reinforced with many seams but every single one is warped or twisted and not at all neat and straight.
She also decided to rearrange the tubs and finally empty our favourite outdoor convenience. The pots under the shelves are to help kitten-proof the place. They'd have to be very tiny, strong kittens to dig out now.
And speaking of digging - I, of course, had to empty the pots a little.
Why she had to take a photo of my furs with the honest soils of Finland on them, I do not know. But I am not proud - I can work hard and dirty my paws.

It is good to be willing to get your furs dirty for a good dig in the soil.
Those hammocks are interesting, but I think I would take a little while to trust them if it were me.

We'll reserve comment on the hammocks. We suppose you'll soon be bodily Aiti-handled into trying them out...humans are SO impatient. The Baby would naturally be in them in an instant, however. She is a daredevil!
The Girlcats here LOVE a guy with honest Finnish soil on his paws and vest! There was much oohing and aahing over that last photo.

Maybe you should go a little bit easy re-the sewing skills. After all, she clearly does try! Our #1 barely knows which end of the needle is up!

OMC, those hammocks look like something my human would put together!

I think it is rather rude of your human to photograph you before you had a chance to clean up - how would she like it if you did that to her?

Dirt on your paws and bib adds to your mancatliness.

A little dirt never hurt anycat. We thinks the hammocks might be comfy. Of course, as a kitteh, you must turn up your nose at them first.

Those are pretty cool hammocks! You should give them a try. And we think it's cool that you have a photo of you with dirts in your furs - it makes it look like you're not afraid to do a little hard work!
