Finally Äiti is back! Although we have been well fed and watered, it's not been the same as being able tug toe hairs at 2am. We behaved with indifference when Äiti returned, mainly because we are all very, very hot. We have a heat wave and it was 32'C here. That's at least four squillion in those silly fahrenheit units and not what we Finncats are prepared for - especially those of us with long fur. We have been collapsed on the catio and sadly too tired to go blog-commenting but if it cools overnight we'll get on to it! provided Äiti doesn't disappear on us again.

Yikes! That is super hot!! Ours is just a little bit higher, but we have central air conditioning! We'd die without it. We're glad your Aiti is home - let her rest up!!

32C? That should be outlawed!

We're glad she's back though!

We're glad Aiti is home now.

32C certainly is warm...Parts of our province are having a heat wave now too, but we have a lovely breeze off Lake Ontario, so it seems nice here. Besides, it's cold 6 months of the year, so we'll take a bit of heat. (Wait till we're melting in July and August. LOL.)

32!!! Yikes! We didn't know it got that hot in Finland. We wish it would get warmer here.We are lucky to reach 16C. We have had no rain for a long time but it is not very warm.

It's warmer there than in the DESERT!
There's something fundamentally wrong with that.

Wow, that is pretty hot! Here in southern California where it SHOULD be hot like that, it has barely creeped above 70F (not sure what that is in celsius!).

32C! In northern Finland? Oh you poor kitties! Especially those of you with those long, thick, luxurious coats! Was the sitter able to do anything to keep your house cool for you? Did it cool down in the evenings, at least? We are a world away and our temps. are 37C but we have only about 7% humidity. Is Finland very humid?
Aiti owes you, big time! We'll back you up on that!
