We have had a very strange weekend. Äiti went to bed really late - she was watching some weird song contest on television. This meant that she spotted Lewis-veli going to Stran-veli for a special cuddle.
And then Harris-veli snuck up for a cuddle with his litter brother.
She said it was worth staying up to see this!
Before she went to bed we had an extra feed - she was trying to fool us into not waking her at 6am - our compulsory breakfast time. But we only realised this too late and then Stran-veli (who checks all is well and the routines are correct) leapt on the bed and headbutted Äiti awake at about 7.30 instead. She had had long enough to sleep!
And tonight will also be late, and I am very excited about this because my beloved Finland are playing my not beloved Ruotsi in the world ice hockey championships. We shall be waving paws and cheering the Suomen Leijonat on. To keep our strength up we have been eating special muikku. It will be a long night!

"Special Cuddle"? More like an attempted humping, hee hee.

We are going to change our passports to say we are Finnish Cats. We want muikku, too! Served on time, of course.
