We are very tired thanks to some night time whinging from Risto. Äiti is particularly unhappy because she has been awake on cuddle duty with many of us throughout the night. The truth is that we are a little bit liquid in the the litter department for some reason so we need a bit of extra snuggling. Anyway, she was awakened by an indignant screech from Risto who was performing his necessary functions, watched by Pekka-poika.
Now we all know some things are private, but it is also great fun to wind up Risto as one look can provoke a 4 minute whine. This is simply irresistible to some of us. So Pekka made the wrong choice, got a loud response and picked up by Äiti who was within seconds dripping blood thanks to a reflex claw response. Thank goodness it is Friday and we have a weekend to recover. Äiti is also off to work soon so at least we get peace and quiet from her attempting to sleep! Why can't she just get on with it ?

Oh no, did you all eat something nasty? Mommy shudders to think of a Horde of Cats with the kitty squirts.

To answer your question...Rupert and CC are actually the drooly Cats. John is lousy in the grooming department thus conserving his spit!

Thanks for your input about traveling cats. We will definitely get something like you suggest to be absorbent in the carrier. Somebody else suggested "puppy pads" which would be similar. GOOD idea!
No Delta airlines: we will be on a Continental flight.

It seems to us that some of you have been a little bit on the naughty side. And shame on Pekka for bloodying his Äiti !

Poor Risto! Nobody should be harassed in any fashion when they are using the facility. Are you sure the kitties don't have the GI problems because they perceive a preditor and are nervous?
We are big on not letting anyone intimidate or bully anyone else at our house. If Risto gets annoyed every time he uses the box, time will come when he doesn't use the box at all! We send love and kisses to all!

Hi, We came over from Katzen Frau's blog. Nice to meet you all!

All of you appear to be a very lively bunch of kitties! Hope the 'trots' clear up soon.
