Thankfully today there were no escapes - but Pekka-poika has been pacing around the catio edge optimistically. Mirsku-veli crossed the skyway, for which he earns our great respect. Today however Äiti abandoned us - yes, the stinky birds were more important than us. She will suffer later. But it is of course Easter today and instead of filling the blog with little chicks and bunnies (neither of which did she bring back for us to snack on), we have to alert you, my loyal readers, to a high cuteness alert. We introduce our friend Martta, who yesterday gave birth to 5 beautiful little kittens (in an hour - she didn't hang around).
Martta is a lovely Burmese. And now there are five more little cuties: in the photo they are 18 hours old.
So hvyää pääsiäistä - happy Easter everyone !

Happy Easter from alla us at The Katnip Lounge! Puna, we love your photo today, your neck ruffles are magnificent.

Martta is gorgeous, and her tots are beyond cute. Mommy winced at 5 kittens in an hour, we cannot understand why. It seems quite efficient to us.

We do think it's pretty cheeky of your Äiti to leave you on a feast day!

Tat is a very fetching photo of you, Puna-Chan. As for the kittens, WOW!!! Cute overload alert!
