Tonight it is cloudy so we have Äiti trapped inside. We do like the revontulet, but they take her away from home so we have to amuse ourselves which can be messy and smelly, and always leaves us hungry. We make sure she suffers, when she does return!
But here we have some photos of catio fun. Pekka-poika likes exploring. He was running free in the forests so he likes to climb, and wishes there were trees on the catio - not just silly stumps and boring shelves.
He is relaxed enough to have a wash and then dip his paws deep while he descends.
And I am waiting for him.
And to give him a good sniff.
I know no fear - I can climb snow piles too. Perhaps he feels intimidated by my tail fluff in comparison to his little wisp, hehehe.
And I can also dig my head into the tunnels we have made to discover mouseholes. Sadly yesterday they were empty and there was no feast. This will not be the case next time.....

We think you're both intrepid explorers and mighty hunters. :-)

We also think it's time for your snow (and ours!) to melt and for spring to arrive!

The mom wants to know how large your enclosure is. It looks to be a really good size. Our back space is about 16 ft x 18 or 19 ft...not a lot of space, but enough for one of us (Derry). Only absolute freedom (and likely death on the busy street nearby) would suit Mr. Escape Artist Nicki. He's *still* trying to get over the fence and the mom doesn't trust him one iota.

Pekka's white stockings are brighter than the snow! It is so nice to see him enjoying his new life as perheeni.

Don't forget...those shinnny-tails CAN get fat...Felix's gets incredibly huge, and his is THIN!

Hi King Punapippuri! Boy, we sure have missed you. It's nice to see you watching over your new charge. He's very lucky to have a ruler like you taking care of him. We hope you find some mousies to chomp very soon!

Your friends, Fuzzy and Zoe
