She's back, she's back, she's back. One night away - well that was at least eleventynine sleeps so we left masses of messages (mostly in the right place). We have starved of course even though we had extra wet stuff just 24 hours ago and loads of dry stuff was left. Äiti said we didn't need a cat -sitter! Huh. well, she won't need sleep, or clean laundry, or pee-free cupboard doors. Anyway, I am very happy she is back and am covering it well with a sulk. She's processing at least a trillion photos and said she had a great time watching....kotka. Eeeek - they are my nightmare. Merikotka (sea eagle) comes to our lake twice a year. This lake is only 100m away and we cannot see it from the house but merikotka is big enough to eat all us kitties so I get really scared. Äiti says our catio is safe and specially built to protect us from merikotka. She was watching another type (maakotka - golden eagle) she had not seen before. She said this was many, many kilometres away. but what if they followed her home .... ? She is telling me not to worry but I don't like stinky birds! maybe I sleep in her bed tonight just to be sure.

We don't think we have eagles in this area, but we do have some hawks. But we don't think the hawks are big enough to eat US - just mice and stuff. Just in case, though, we'll stay inside. And we're pretty sure that the kotkas won't get you in Aiti's bed, so for sure sleep there!
