And here is a surprise photo. For those of you who have not yet worked out the location of ever cat tree, you perhaps need to be told thatLewis-veli here is DOWNSTAIRS. This is to be celebrated big time. He is now coming down each day but hiding away. He will eat now from different bowls so Äiti has stopped using hi special feeding place in the bedroom (well, sometimes he can find something good in there but she is encouraging him to wander). She wants him to build up more trust: hopefully he will see his litter-buddy Harris-veli is more confident and learn. Äiti keeps a close watch on his eye - for many years he has had problems which we is from nasty English bacteria and viruses he has never been able to really get rid of.
And finally a portrait of Stran-veli in some sunshine. He is our very special boss-cat. I was having a little wrestle with Pekka-poika this morning (because he claimed I had nearly pushed him down the stairs - which unfortunately Äiti saw so I cannot deny this). Pekka is learning just how far he can play before it gets too rough, and when this happened Stran-veli just strutted along, sat down and looked at him. That one eye can say so much! Pekka-poika retreated under the bed and all was well. All cat colonies need a Stran (but you cannot have ours!).

I would love to know more about Stran. He look super cool for me. No wonder he is the boss !
A lot of time, he remind me about The Big Boss in Gangster movie.
This is great news, that Lewis-veli is downstairs!
We think you're all pretty special, and Äiti too, for caring for you all. :-)

Our little cat colony of three has Binga, but frankly, you are welcome to her if you would like her!!!
ood news that Lewis-Veli is getting more daring, that means the trust is getting better. Loved all the pictures again.. I think those paws have to be the cleanest ever. Hugs GJ xx
You're right, Puna-Chan, every family needs a wise one. We have our Tommy for that.

PS: Hurrah for Lewis!
That is a really, really nice photo of Lewis - the fact that he's sitting up and you can see his paws and everything instead of hunched down or hiding away! Bravo! And poor Pekka - first he gets shoved down stairs and then he gets the evil eye from Sir Stran!
Oh, but King Punapippuri, you are more than welcome to come to my party and play mancat games! And feel free to bring your family! Even though you don't understand girlcats, we do love you anyway! :)
Oh we hate getting caught "being naughty". bummer. Stran is the best Boss Cat we've ever seen.
Lewis, we are very proud. of your bravery...enjoy the downstairs buffet!
