All hostilities and games have ceased. We are now on high eagle-alert: Äiti saw merikotka flying over her workplace in the city earlier today. She has been to the lake and all is safe right now but I shall be vigilant and protect perheeni. I can reassure you that our catio is made from extra-strength anti-eagle wire. We shall stand firm against any attack.
Äiti's note: there is no chance the eagle will get them, he's just fussing. And judging by the brave way everyone dived inside - Punapippuri first - when a harmless skier passed by yesterday, there'll be no organised defense!

Perhaps in this case, "flight" is the best defense strategy!

If you can have a wolf in sheep's clothing, why not an eagle in skier's clothing? You are wise not to take chances with the eagles.
Thank Cod for specially-made "anti-eagle" wire. We'll all sleep safely in our beds.
And did you know Aiti added something rather uncomplimentary after you finished dictating? She implied all y'all were FRAIDY CATS!
Yep, I see you are standing VERY firm against those eagles. Yep. 'Course skiers aren't eagles, right?
Wow, an eagle! We've never seen one, though the mom has seen some in other regions of North America. They're not common in our area, though someone in our region had posted a pic of one on the Weather Channel web site over the winter. There are lots of hawks, though!
Any chance of photo ops for Aiti?
