We have had some warmer weather so have been stationed outside on the catio. Mouse patrol has been on full alert. Ruska has braved the arctic blasts.
Mirsku-veli has been pretending to be a meerkat.
And I have been surveying from the reindeer-fur lined hut. Äiti trusted us so stopped her supervision and left tuulikaappi open so we could enter and exit at leisure.
Ruska got busy and dug some tunnels. And when Äiti came out later there was blood on the snow and we were triumphant. Humans, look away from the next picture; felines - admire!
I congratulate the mighty hunter by letting him lick my royal nose.
There was much feasting and joy, and Mirsku-veli kept on thinking he was a meerkat......

Wow, such incredible hunting skills! We're very impressed, indeed. The mom now has an image in her mind of pre-historic warriors gathered around a camp fire, roasting prey.

Mirsku-veli looks so adorable as a meerkat. :-)

Mirsku-Meerkat is absolutely wonderful! And Ruska looks most impressive. IT's good to hear he is such a loyal subject, Puna-Chan!

Shrew Fricassee for supper! YUM.

Ain't it great when the humans leave you alone and just let you do your Catly duties?

Well done to the Mighty Hunter. That mouse looked very tasty.
Mirsku-veli does a very good imitation of a meerkat.

Mirsku! You are so adorable! When our 16 year old cat sister was younger she frequently would stand on her back legs. Mum would go all silly when she did this.
What amazing hunters!! And in all of that snow! We can't believe you want to be outside in the first place. But the urge to engage in catly behavior supersedes all.

Our mum is well meaning but a bit stoopid at times. As you can see, she posted twice! But what she really wants to ask is what do we call you for short? You are such an adorable boy. Mum went back to the beginning of your post and was squeeing her head off! Watching you grow was just delightful. Mum thinks you were probably the prettiest, most charming kitty she has ever seen. But the one thing she didn't find is what to call you for short! Can you help us?
