We take mousewatch duties seriously. The temperature has been above zero (a great surprise here) and we have been vigilant on the catio.
Ruska and I discuss strategy carefully.
He goes to dig.
And he has success - look at his powerful jaws.
Inside, on closer inspection he discovers an ice-shrew, already dead. Äiti let him sniff but not eat. Bah!
He returns outside, wanting to match my success of a live catch last week. I, in the meantime, was warming my fluff inside in the sauna.......

You kitties are WAY tougher than I would be, off hunting in the snow like that! I hope your catch is better next time!

You are both mighty hunters.

We cannot imagine why you want to.go outside in the bitterly cold weather when you have bunches of neat toys in your house. Even your prey met his end by the cold! We know that you have gorgeous, luxurious coats but how about those little bare pads? Have a wonderful weekend, loves. Stay I.side, cuddle your mum!

King Punapippuri, you can tell us the truth - did your Aiti smash your face in the snow just to get a good photo op? The snows in Ruska's furs look really pretty!
