There is total excitement in my eyes and this Christmas has been magical - for all of us. Äiti has been very happy too, that there have been so many really kind and thoughtful presents.
First we wish to thank two really special young portrait artists. Look at these pictures! We are all magnificently shown.
My noble expression has been captured magnificently. And such effort has been made to make all the pictures accurate - we applaud such great talent.
Äiti bought Mirsku-veli a special present (which I am testing!). Every night Mirsku-veli visits the bedroom where he finds Mr Hippo. He sits on Mr Hippo and shows him how much he cares. Now over the year Mr Hippo has got very squashed and tired (it's not nice having Fatboy loving you that much). So when she went to Ruotsi, Äiti got...Mr Elephant who is twice as big and hopefully has more stamina.
Mirsku-veli and I went outside to check the catio. It was only -10'C this morning so we bravely explored.
I was on mousewatch for a while but the day was so exciting I came inside quickly.
Rilli-ukko played like pikku pentu. He was chasing around and playing with mousies. He, like the rest of us, has enjoyed much fine food. Last night we feasted on roast turkey and today had succulent chicken. Äiti has noticed some of us are getting a little bit heavier and I guess we all will have to join her in the new year diet (gulp). But look at what we have to eat first!
Now we were all speechless when we opened this parcel. It had food, kissanmintu, toys, a bed, and hand-made blankets. This was all sent with love from Raisu, who was part of the original Muhos six, and is now living in the south of Finland. There was also a lovely lantern for Äiti and now that is on the catio, with a candle burning in memory of Rilli, Roosa, Risto and Ruska's beloved human. Regular readers to my blog will know we light candles to remember those who are no longer here and having a new lantern is very special for us.
Äiti also was given some photos - this is a bad copy but here is Ruska, at 5 weeks old, when he had just been rescued. In some ways he was rescued again this year, and I am very proud to have him in perheeni.
Now we had some lovely kissanmintu as well, and Roosa was in ecstasy. Her little manxie bottom was twitching away, hehehe.
Risto, Ruska and Rilli-ukko were also inhaling the nip and we will show more pictures of them soon.
I had great fun with my new favourite mouse - I am standing in the new bed with the woollen red blanket. Beautiful and so soft on my paws. It has a little mousie attached to it too.
And we also got another lovely new blanket, which Aila-sisko and Stran-veli are modelling. In fact most of us have collapsed on it, exhausted today.

We hope everyone else has been as lucky and happy today. Hyvää joulua kaikille!

i am now visiting my brother and her wife Esteri is helping to write this message. We have been following your Christmas and we are happy that everything is fine. Raisu and Tilly are almost friends. Tillys mother and sister are also visiting us five days. It causes some battles between them. We have been missing Maija during Christmas time and we also have burned candles. Greetings from Raisu to brother Ruska. Happy New Year to you all wishes Virpi, Esteri, Tilly and Raisu.

We wish Mr. Elephant many happy moments with Mirksu...Mommy muttered something about "beaching a whale" but we didn't understand her...your new toys and foods look marvelous!

We ManCats were mesmerized by Roosa's bottom...what a fine Chrisymas gift!

Merry Christmas from our house to yours!

My darling Punapippuri, looks like you and your family had a great Christmas full of great treasures! We eat Royal Canin too!

Oh how I wish you were here to snuggle with.....it just started snowing. We don't get much snow in these parts, so it's quite interesting and mom gets very worried about the feral colonies that she feeds.

I really hope your gift from me arrives soon!

XOXO
