We ventured out again into the frozen wilds. Mousewatch duties demanded it! Äiti was out taking photos last night (she got very lucky with more revontulet shots) and it was -22'C. She was far too cold to snuggle up to when she got home!
I wish to say a little about our domestic arrangments. Here Stran-veli poses by our robot-vac which is doing quite well at keeping the floors tidy. It came back from repairs and is a bit 'temperamental' with recharging but Äiti says she is pleased with it, 'on the whole'. Funny, she says that about us sometimes. Robot-vac runs around sweeping every day, and gets upset when it meets any of my favourite mice (so do I! It really plays rough with them.). It does a fairly good job of controlling our fur and any claw sheds.
And here is our downstairs food bar with Tuomo-veli, Stran-veli, Aila-sisko, myself, Ruska and Rilli waiting for his own bowl (having had a taste of our food as you can see from his little tongue poking out to smack his lips!). Upstairs Roosa and Risto wait at their bowls, And Lewis-veli has his own little platter by his hiding place. Harris-veli and Mirsku-veli wait politely - they are never first in line for the food which I think is really strange. As soon as Äiti goes upstairs with the food for those in the upper quarters, I follow and have to make sure they are not getting a better deal. Fairness is very important to me. We are fed twice daily, at 6am and 6pm but I do not think that this is enough so wanted to ask you, my loyal followers if you are fed so infrequently ? I think we have grounds for claiming deprivation here.

Our mom wants a robovac!!! She sweeps the floors twice a day and it still isn't enough.

We have to be separated to eat. Ferris and Maizy would eat everyone's food so they eat in the down stairs bathroom. Maya and Chevelle eat in the kitchen, Saylor, Ziggy and Maggie May eat in the upstair bedroom and Gretchen eats in her pink room. We are impressed that so many of you eat at the downstairs food bar together.

You are clearly being starved! That is obvious from each and every photo of all of you.....

The robovac thing looks very intriguing. #1 says she could so with something (anything!) that might help to keep the place tidy.

Our mom thinks the robovacs are cool, but we say no way, it would eat our toys. We always have crunchy food down, so we never starve. And guess what? Fuzzy never, ever, ever begs for food. She always lets me eat first, and she doesn't even fuss when I want her food instead. My mom gets mad when I do that, though.

Robovac is very intriguing! Do any of you attack it? We think Maui would stalk and kill one daily...so maybe it's best that we utilize a Daddyvac instead.
We are fed twice daily, and we agree, it is NOT enough. we used to have kibble free fed 24 hours a day, and we preferred that, despite our dandruff, scruffy fur, and extra-potent gas.
