We great fluff cats of the north escaped last night, and waved our tails through the snow, to make the
revontulet glow. And there was not a bad gas to be smelt. Instead there were beautiful green lights across the sky. This photo is taken about 2km south of our magnificent dwelling, looking across a lake. Needless to say we kept the sauna warm while she was out standing like a mad woman in the freezing cold.

Fabulous northern lights! It must be so amazing to see them "for real," not just in photos and on TV. Wow.
Spectacular!!!
Gorgeous! Perhaps it was so cold your olfactory receptors were frozen?
oooooooohhhhhh, what beautiful photos! Our mom is often quite envious when she views your blog, and tonight is probably the most envious she's been yet. She so wants to view the Northern Lights in person one day.
