Yesterday was exhausting with all that blogging, and I am very proud to have had 12 comments! Livestrong day is not very well-known here in Finland so I was very happy to be a royal representative. And as you can see, I am resting up on my new blankie after a hard day's yellowing.
Speaking of which, Risto and his bladder were very calm (unlike today - the 'Pissi Pois' spray has been very busy). Here he looks quite angelic, and it is really hard to explain to Äiti just what it is about him that we object to at times.
To be honest, we are being much calmer now and there are very few chases and only a little growling-howling now.
Stran-veli knows he is boss so doesn't bother quite so much raising the paw. And as you can see, it'd take something pretty serious for him to wake up right now.
Äiti has been busy too, and after she went hunting she cooked some special food for Rilli-ukko. Chicken (with all the yummy bits included) and rice, which she mixed up. Sprinkled on top are some special renal biscuits and something called 'slippery elm bark' for his stomach. It's a stinky powder but he doesn't object, and it has calmed down his stomach bubbling after he eats. I would like to put in a special menu request to Äiti but my needs are not listened to. For some reason she thinks I can survive quite happily without fresh poro and lohi. In the meantime it looks like Aila-sisko wants to become vegetarian - which I will strongly encourage as that leaves more meaty bits for me. I wonder if she realises this is parsley and not kissanmintu........

Livestrong day was amazing, wasn't it? Mom and Dad have just been rearranging our parsley and basil pots, as well as repotting our "swedish" ivy that had fallen down. It is breezy and much cooler here today. I am sleeping much of the day away.

We're very happy that you got 12 comments yesterday! We just love Love LOVE your blog, so we'll comment most every day that we can. It's nice that things are calm for you. I have the cat crazies - I guess it's this autumn weather! My mom said she doesn't mind, since it's daylight. She hopes I wear myself out before midnight. I'd better get a nap in....

We are cool and cloudy here today, with a little rain! it's given us the crazies and we're running around like MadCats.
We see no reason why you shouldn't get a home cooked meal every day...you are the KING, after all!
Sweet Pea likes to eat basil and strawberry tops; maybe you can suggest those for Aila to try next.

A very food-focused Sunday! We did pretty well today as #1 roasted a chicken and we all got yummy bits.
