I am so not happy. Finally I am allowed to get my paws on the keyboard and can blog. Äiti has been busy, so I have to suffer and not keep my loyal readers informed. I have only one comment about that: bottoms to Äiti.
My thanks for your good wishes, and with these healing purrs (particularly from my sweetheart Maggie May) I am pleased to report that my bite is better. And I was a brave mancat and did not flinch when the nasty needle went in.
Since then I have been keeping up my appetite and bonding of course with Stran-veli.
Äiti says she loves it when the two of us are together as we make beautiful pictures. And Stran has been very busy too, protecting us all. A couple of nights ago Risto and Tuomo-veli were having a paws and claws session, and then Stran-veli joined in. Now poor Risto had two big mancats after him and his leg did get hurt (a scratch we think but Äiti is on limp-alert to check it isn't another bite).
After that he has been more peaceful (and a bit pee-full too unfortunately). Maybe the hierarchy is settling a bit: Risto really should just realise he isn't going to win!
And now I am glad of my thick winter fluff - the autumn is becoming colder and we had the first snow a couple of days ago. It hasn't stayed though so this means Äiti can get outside to tidy the garden and polish the catio. Of course she has not done so -just lok at the state of it all. She may be good at feeding us and paying all the vet bills, but she is certainly lacking in the gardening department!

We are very happy your poor paw is feeling better. Rupert sends extra purrs, when he first came in he had 5 bite wounds on his hiney and an abscess as big as a golf ball.
Speaking of hineys, yours is spectacular with the Fall floof!
Paws crossed for ongoing peace negotiations. Sylvester's appearance seems to have broken up two deep set animosities around here; we're all to busy watching HIM to squabble! He and Rupert had a HUGE play session last night complete with trills and thundering chase games.

We just adore that last photo of you, Punapippuri, and are very glad your bite is better.

We hope it will be a peaceful weekend at your house.

Purrs,
The Chans
