We've had a busy day making sure our furs are all picked up. The Fur Cleaning Machine is working quite well, and it did not eat our food. We are enjoying watching it, and for some reason Äiti has put a pawrental control on youtube videos.
And I also got an early birthday present today - a brand new cat tree. Tuomo-veli is on the old one, right by MY new one. Both of them have little nest bowls, which means that I can sit up there when Risto is around. I selflessly surrendered my favourite bowl to him so now my generosity has been paid back. I helped Äiti put it together of course, and Risto just sat on the wardrobe hiding.
Rilli-ukko has been a little poorly. Äiti changed our dried food and he was very sick. There were several pools of yuck overnight and then today when we had had yummy tonnikalaa, he threw up again with a furball (not quite of my standard but he has got short fur!). Anyway he went to see ystävämme eläinlääkäri and has had some blood taken He was very good and held his paw steady, and made sure he told the world all about it in the car on the way home. We think he will be okay, and our paws are very firmly crossed (which in England means good luck). Äiti just wanted to make sure he was okay so all his levels are being checked.
I would like to welcome all my new readers who have visited from the catblogosphere. I am very pleased to welcome you in to my kingdom, and as soon as I can will be reading about everyone who calls. I decided it was high time to hit the social scene, and I do hope you will return and join me in my constant battle against the Evil Flap and the threat of merikotka attack.
And in answer to yesterday's question: it is I, Punapippuri, next to Aila-sisko on the shelf; then on the left is Mirsku-veli, then Rilli-ukko, then Stran-veli and Tuomo-veli. It is very difficult telling Rilli and Tuomo apart in that picture as you cannot see Rilli's white tail tip and Tuomo's grumpy face, hehehe.

Your new tree is fantastic, Punapippuri! The nest bowls look verreh comfy. We are sorry Rilli-ukko is not feeling well. Our paws are crossed for him too and we are purring he will feel better soon. Our Pip has a sensitive tummy and does not take to food changes very well.
