The day started with a quick '6 catter' snap on the catio. Regular readers are challenged to identify us all!
And yes, this was the start of the day - nice and relaxed. I decided against the toe attacks as I think it would pay to be nice to Äiti as I have a very important day soon - my birthday. And if I upset her, maybe I won't get so many presents. And Aila-sisko and I decided that stinky birdwatching could be good fun; and it wasn't even so bad being close to her!
And then we all had a huge surprise - Äiti had bought HERSELF a present. Now usually that means a camera but she has said this could be more useful. Now Äiti is actually very lazy and also gets very fed up with our fur all over the place. I cannot see why - she should treasure every one! But she has bought this funny thing that eats up the fur and moves all over the floor. Tuomo-veli and I were trying to check out if it was safe.
I sent Tuomo in as the advance guard to check it out - it is always good for the King to protect himself.

It even tried to clean the kitchen, but we were horrifeid that it might eat our food.
Äiti says it's on trial and if it doesn't pick up all our fur it will go back to the shop because it was very expensive. I'm glad she didn't say that about any of us!

hmmmm. We say on the shelf from left to right is YOU; Punapippuri, and Aila. On the ground is Lewis, Rilli, Stran and Harris. The B&W kitties are hard to tell apart from the rear!

We have seen on YouTube kitties who ride those strange fur collecting machines...we think you had better watch it closely. You just never know.

That looks like something we've seen a cat riding around on in a video ad. Hope it works.

We came by from the CB to meet you all.

I hope the housekeeper doesn't get any ideas! That thing is scary! I can't guess yet who's who.

Thanks to the CB for letting me know you're there.. Love your word for cat--kissa! It's a lot more dignified than kissie-poo which people say to me all the time.

We just heard about you all on the Cats Blogosphere and came over to see you. We are both just over 1 year old and although we call each other sister we do not have the same mum and dad cats. We don't think we would like one of those machines moving it about all the time it could disturb our naps. Do come and visit us sometime - we are from the UK so not too far away

Birdwatching is great fun, we enjoy that here.

That thing has Mom drooling, she says if it works she wants one to pick up our fur. Well mainly the dogs fur it floats all over the house.

That sweeper is really scarity. But maybe it will pick up your furs and not your food. We don't know you very well yet, so we need to come back a lot to get to know all of you. WE like the vocabulary at the top. We can learn a lot here on this blog.Have a marvelous Monday.

All Hail The King!

Hi Punapippuri, it's really good to meet you all. Though our ape thinks we have visited before, you can't really rely on her memory. We have read about all of you and think you have a great life (as you should) Our ape knows Southmead and Knowle (argh) so sends props to your Aiti for rescuing you from such horrid places.

Tuomo, did you know you could ride on the silly robot fur gobbler? It's true, though that may stop it in its tracks. Try it.
