Happy World Cat Day to you all ! Äiti has been busy blogging our stories and it has made me reflect on all the kitties out there who have not been so lucky to find a home such as ours (even though it might be about to turn stinky with lots of competing mancat smells).
There are too many shelters and rescue centres overflowing, and so much work to be done with TNR (trap, neuter, release - which I don't think sounds very nice but Äiti says is very good). Here in Finland cats cannot live outside in the winter so we do not have feral cats all year, but in summer there are still kittens born outside. I was lucky - I think I was the luckiest cat in the world - I got a home. But please do anything you can to help those not so lucky - in rescue centres, on the streets, anywhere.
And to all those of you reading this blog in cosy homes, let's raise a paw to toast our health and happiness. And then raid the catnip cupboard! Hurrah!

Yes, too many of us don't have homes, no one to love us and care for us. So we agree, a toast to our health and happiness!

Happy World Cat Day to you all!

Happy World Cat Day to all of you! We are toasting our good kitty-fortune and also purring for those in need of homes and thanking all those that help kitties in need. Have a great day!

Happy World Cat Day to both the Royal and Common (as if!) kitties at your house!

We are going to put together a donation for shelter cats today, and the outdoor stray Mommy feeds is getting a can of tuna for dinner tonight! (We are *this* close to trapping him for TNR...wish us luck.)

Enjoy your catnip fest!
