Our Saturday morning cleaning routine is nearly over - Äiti has scrubbed the trays and vacuumed some of the furs we leave everywhere, and washed the floor ready for us to pattern with muddy paw prints again. So I have a few moments to blog about all the exciting things we did yesterday afternoon on the catio.
Aila-sisko was brought downstairs (Tuomo-veli was locked upstairs) and she loved our catio as you can see.
Mirsku-veli caught a damself fly - but his style is not as elegant as mine.
We did our share of bird-watching too. The intense focus on our faces proves we too can enjoy this hobby.
However when I tried to get closer the wretched thing remembered it had wings and flew away. All that stealth for nothing!
And Stran-veli just sat in the sun and let his belly fluff absorb the rays.
Harris-veli is still too shy to go Outside but I shared some treats with him in the evening so he didn't feel left out. Now I know this looks like something which it isn't - I promise you I have never taken kitty-coke and never will - dabbling in 'nip is different and a past time which should be encouraged for self-expression. This is just the powder from the bottom of a tube of yummy chicken 'Thrive'. If you don't believe us you are welcome to come to test our urine - oh, but Äiti has just cleaned the litter trays!

Your Catio is so nice! We wish we had real dirts and grass to roll around in.
Keep watch on those pesky birds...eventually you'll get another one...eat the evidence quick next time!
Mommy thought perhaps your Mom had a baking accident...we would never suspect you of indulging in anything stronger than nip!

We are very fond of Thrive too and ours also ends up in that powdery state at the bottom of the container!
