Äiti has not abandoned us yet so I made sure I had a nice long snuggle this morning. My ear and chin furs were itchy so she did quite a good job of scratching them for me.
We've been having ace chases on the catio. We Finnboys were out until late biffing each other and then running off.
The only one of us seven who has not been on the catio now is Lewis-veli who is usually in the bedroom with Aila-sisko. He is very gentle and gets on better with the Britcats. He seems happier there and even eats when Äiti watches, but it is a shame he doesn't come Outside as he'd love it. Harris-veli still runs in when Äiti sees him - which is silly. But he has mastered the Cat-curtain and uses i along with the rest of us.
Last night we were very excited as siili (hedgehog) came visiting. Last year we could rub noses but this year we are just chatting from a distance. Mirsku-veli wants to catch him and biff him around, and Tuomo-veli probably wants to eat him but I know we must respect The Nature and think siili is a good neighbour to have.

I have been reading your blog for quite a while, and I just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE it! I love the voice you have given to Pikku Punapippuri - it just melts me! The catio is great, and I'm sure the cats are in 7th heaven! Thank you for making me smile every time I come to your blog. :)

A hedgehog! How fun! You must ask your Mum to get some pictures...we have never seen such a creature. hmmm, would they be tasty?

Give Harris time...the curiosity of going out on the Catio will eventually get to him...we'd bet on it!

We posted about our "Little Out" today and the windbreak Daddy built...maybe something similiar would work for you Cats.
