Thank you all for your comments following our frightening news. Eagle-protection training is now a serious matter here and it is my royal duty to make sure we all do our part. Mirsku-veli is just not getting the hang of using boxes to hide in, but he does a great job of chomping them to pieces. He is so focused and keen, it would be a shame to tell him that we actually do still need the lids!
Harris-veli says he isn't very brave but even he is perfecting his mighty paw swipe, just in case.
Aila-sisko managed to climb up to make a look out -she has lots of practice because she is always looking out for Tuomo-veli and says an eagle is the least of her worries. Her naughty kneecap is still a bit stiff so it is good exercise for her to climb on the balcony cat tree.
And Stran-veli says he's not so bothered but he'll practice his hugging and clawing as that's always a good idea.
And as for me, well I am still working on the delicate changes a single fang can bring! And I am sure that you can see I have the mind of a great strategist, and will soon have a great plan to protect perheni, which I will be working on just as soon as fresh supplies arrive in our food bowls and I have some more energy because of course we are having combat training which involves Mirsku perfecting techniques of jumping on eagles and flattening them with his Fatboy belly. Only because we haven't got the enemy eagle he is using me instead.......
