We now have long days and short nights, so Äiti should not be surprised that we wake her for breakfast at 4am. We are so pleased too that her bedroom door is open and we can play on her bed. Aila-sisko grumbles a bit but she is happier, and Tuomo-veli is not going near the bedroom because of his collar which finally seems to be working. Maybe he is a slow-learner (he was a farm boy afterall!). So there is lots of playing happening, and even Harris-veli joins in as you can see. Mirsku-veli is getting everywhere - polishing the floor, pawing at doors, and mewing away to anyone who will listen! But luckily he does not sense spring is in the air so much so I am not being scruffed and sat on - which is a very big relief I can tell you!

Sounds like things are going great in Finland (north)! Happy days are here again!

We at this end are enjoying our Finnish language education! We have now found out that "Veli" means brother! Maybe you had mentioned it before our time but we were intrigued!

The earlier the breakfast the better! We were tortured into waiting until 8 a.m. this morning...Mommy had the day off and she was deaf to our cries of starvation. Mean old mommy!

Hehehe it is good you try to learn Finnish and maybe you will do a better job than Äiti who is very bad at it and always makes many mistakes!
And today we ambushed the bed at 5.30am. This time Mirsku and I both attacked under the duvet and it worked :) I do not know how we would cope if we waited until 8.30am - that is just so mean and cruel. I recommend toe-biting and ankle-clawing.

Lovely to see everyone getting on so well and Harris-veli playing too. You just need to let Aiti sleep and then everybody will be happy!
