This is a quick blog as Äiti seems to think that preparing the house for our visitor is more important. Pah! She does not understand I have an audience of loyal followers. Aila-sisko is still limping but she has made it to the sofa. Tuomo-veli then spotted her and chased her which was really mean, but he is in a very bad mood today. In the middle of the night he nuzzled Äiti and she discovered he had all blood and gunky stuff in his head furs. That little scab must have been on top of a bite mark, and the abscess burst. Yeuuuch! Poor Tuomo-veli. Well Äiti managed to clean it up without having to go to hospital herself and made an emergency dash to the big city centre to get antibiotics for him. He does look quite funny with a wound the size of Helsinki on his head, but I dare not laugh at him. Äiti is upset she didn't notice it, and we wonder just who bit him: it must have been in the fight when Aila got hurt so it could have been her or even Stran-veli trying to stop him. Suddenly my peaceful family are all wounded and grumpy. Anyway Tuomo has lots of medicine and Äiti is trying really hard to give everyone the same treats and cuddles (which is clearly unfair as I should have the most).

We seem to have very similar situations going on! We are sorry to hear about the nasty abscess and we hope it clears up very soon! Maggie May has a little lump on her right leg. We are on "abscess watch" right now making sure it doesn't get worse. We have put warm compresses and removed to scab to see if the lump will drain, but it seems to be solid and not an abscess, so that is good. She is finally starting to feel a little better and is on antibiotics just in case.

We hope you all get better soon. Sounds like you are keeping your mom busy taking care of you.
