I would like to thank all my blog readers for their supportive comments. I am indeed thinking a lot about the troubles in perheni, and wishing Aila-sisko well despite the fact she bashed me when I jumped on the sofa next to her. I was only being friendly but I think she is very nervous right now. We are all hoping she does not need surgery - I do not wish that stinky blue bandage on anyone!
However I have also been looking through the many books Äiti has on us cats. Usually I just try to pull them off the shelves but maybe they have some useful things in. Äiti is thinking that maybe there can be some tablets Tuomo could take. She has used strange things called homeopathic remedies before and sometimes they have worked: she wants something that will stop Tuomo-veli chasing Aila and thinks maybe something called 'nux vomica' may help but I thought I would consult with my blog readers before I allow her to try such things. We would be royally grateful for any ideas.
Here is a picture of Aila and me exploring my kingdom the other day before she got hurt. I like it because I am being bigger and braver than her, which is of course only natural.

Hi! We came over from Maggie May who told us about your sisfur's luxating patella. We cross our paws that everything will go well. We're sorry, but we don't know about Nux vomica. When I had my spay surgery my mom gave me Arnika globuli to help with the healing though and everything went well.
Take care!

We've asked a friend who is knowledgeable in natural remedies to stop by and give you some input on the aggressive behavior. We are actually going through something similar here and we're treating it with a product that contains Essence of Holly, Impatiens, Mimulus, Orange, Petunia, Red Clover Flowers, Brandy and Distilled Water. Honestly we can't tell if it's working or if the tension is getting getting better with time.

Here is what our friend said: Hi guys - got your message about needing something natural for calming aggressive kitties in the house! I use flower essences but in a combination bottle - the company is cosmicessences.com but they don't seem to make Feline Harmony any more. I found this other site online with rave reviews for a similar product http://www.catfaeries.com/essences.html - sometimes it is best to buy a combo of essences rather than buy several to combine yourself. I would give these guys a try. You need to use them several times a day for at least a week to see results. Keep me posted!

Me again - found this site about homepathic remedies for cats with very specific symptoms - send to your friend and see what they think. I would use either 30c once or 200c once - dissolve the pellets in water and dose. http://abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/18757

Hope this helps!
XOXO Maggie May
