We have more magnificent Finnish summer sunshine, and I was out checking the catnip crop this afternoon. As it was so dry I showed Äiti that she should water it carefully.
We then harvested some and Tuomo-veli very quickly took advantage of the fresh 'nip and then tried to hide from Aila-sisko who has been quite calm and quiet recently.
She was not fooled by his disguise. Actually, they have been getting on much better and she has been moaning much less when he tries to play with her. I still think it is a little mean that she biffs him and runs off, and then when he tries to biff her in return she squeals like a total girly-cat. But at the moment it is all peaceful and harmonious in my kingdom, thanks to our excellent catnip. I just hope Äiti leaves us enough biscuits to last the night.

Oh, and the best news of all - still no limping :)
