UK citizens and expats PLEASE read

I have just read a horrendous news story from my old home town. A beautiful 4 year old cat was eaten alive by a python that was in a back garden. In the UK cats can roam freely, as it seems can pet snakes. The python's owner was found and was only given a verbal warning by the RSPCA.
Wilbur's owners have started an online petition to get the law on keeping snakes (pythons) changed to recognise them as dangerous animals. Not just for the protection of cats but also of babies. If you are a UK resident or expat, please consider signing this petition.
