Today has been very stressful for this little kollikissa, but an important one. I had to go to ystävämme eläinlääkäri for my second vaccination. I miaowed miau very loudly in every language I knew, which surprised Äiti as I have not done that before. I quite surprised myself but it was scary and I needed to make it known to everyone I am a very important cat. Everyone was very nice to me at the vet's, with lots of cuddles. But then, to my horror there was the most hugest suurin needle in the whole of Finland which got stuck in my poor tiny niska, and I have been 'microchipped'. I am proud I have a number and am registered as a Finncat but was it really necessary? It did hurt me but I, Punapippuri of Muhos Fields tried not to let the pain show. And I did not bite anyone so very hard.
I have been weighed and I am 2.4kg, which is a very impressive size. Äiti said I had smelly breath (hers is not so sweet but I don't complain) and it is because I am getting new teeth. That is also why I am biting all the time, especially after eating. Äiti thought I was still trying to get milk - huh! Does she think I am a tiny pentu?! I wonder about Äiti sometimes.
So now all I want is a peaceful evening - I do not even want to play with Veli Stran, and as for Sisko Aila-Islay, I hope she keeps away as I am not in the mood to show her yet again I am top cat. However when Äiti feeds us I may just come out of my little sulk and eat a morsel or two.

Wow, you are heavier than Bramble and Treacle who are both grown-up cats!

I really don't understand that place called eläinlääkäri... The people there are really nice but why do they do things that hurt us? Mamma says that it's for my own good, but the last time I went there and was a real gentleman and behaved really well, they STILL stung a needle to my bum. I was very annoyed and my feelings were REALLY hurt! I must admit I may have miaowed quite loudly, too...

Äi! I have not had that misfortune. If someone does that to me I shall produce a very smelly fart and make sure they never go near my bum again. Voi voi. This eläinlääkäri is a very strange place. And there were many barking, snuffling noisy stinky dogs too. I am so glad to be at home now and have been sleeping and eating and sleeping some more to get over my shock.
And I am glad Täti Carolyn has checked her records and found Serkut Bramble and Treacle are not so thin. In fact Sisko Aila-Islay has said the best word for Bramble was 'lardy' but I do not know what this means.....

"Hei Punapippuri. If you want to know the meaning of 'lardy' you should take a good look at Sisko Aila/Islay/Iler.

You should learn to copy your cousins, Treacle and I are keeping mummy company by sitting on the paperwork she is trying to do. Love Serku Bramble"

Oh you Britcats - we are one step ahead here: sit on Äiti so she cannot even get to her paperwork!
But I do agree that Sisko Aila-Islay-Iler could do with losing a little bit of weight so I make sure we chase each other lots every day.It is funny when she skids on the floor and rolls over, and then pretends it was all part of her plan.
