Veli Stran and I have been enjoying our new scratching posts and climbing tree.
I have also been checking there are no bacteria and viruses in the Christmas presents and when Äiti wanted me to pose for a cute Christmas picture to send to all my adoring public I refused. She then decided that this was in fact more realistic.....
Today I left my kingdom and returned to the vet. I must admit I was a little bit nervous and Veli Lewis came with me. He was very scared and tried to hide himself very flat which is hard for a 4.8kg cat. He had to have something very nasty done to his bottom - I hope that never happens to me. But I think he will forgive Äiti as it has made him more comfortable.
I had to have my first vaccination, which means I am growing up fast. Ystävämme eläinlääkäri was very nice to me, and the needle didn't hurt. She weighed me and said I would be a big cat. She asked if I was top cat yet and I am very proud that Äiti said yes, except for with Veli Stran. I think she has noticed that I win many chases with Sisko Islay. There were lots of other lovely people at the vet, and I got cuddles from all the kind staff. I heard words like 'ihana' and 'söpö which I do not hear so much at home - I often here 'stop' or 'don't' or ' it's not food time yet' and not the cute, tender words that a growing kitten needs in order to know he really is king of the world, and can control his Äiti with little sad eyes......
